KATHERINE RUFLI
Los Angeles-based composer, songwriter, and sound designer Katherine Rufli has been scoring anything she could get her hands on since the age of 14. While studying at Berklee College of Music, Katherine has scored films for directors such as Steve McCarten (Faithless 2017) and Daniel Slottje (In your Area, The Rotting of Casey Culpepper) and Kody Cunnigham (What We Always Wanted) Katherine's passion for music from a young age has led her on many different paths as a musician.
One of those paths is her band "Vera Kay". The band has been releasing music on all platforms since 2018 and completed a West Coast Tour in 2019. The band's latest release "i would" hitting 10,ooo streams in the first week is the leading song in the band's new direction.
While Katherine studied at Berklee, she majored in Electronic Production And Sound Design. This led to her current project "kittykuu" showcasing a mixture of IDM and cinematic textures mixing the world of sound design with music.
